Ballina Basketball Association is the administrative body managing basketball competitions along the coastal fringe of the Far North Coast from Evans Head to Murwillumbah.
Our membership encompasses both juniors and seniors with competitions run in Senior A Grade men, A Grade women, Junior's for Under 14 & 18, as well as mini ballers. We currently have Under 16 & 18 representative boys side.
Our membership has expanded by over 30% with our total membership standing at approximately 250 players. The aims for our assosiation is to grow our membership by 15% per annum over a three year period and to further expand our representative teams.
2007/2008 has seen the Ballina Basketball Association, along with other sporting bodies in the area put in a proposal for approval of a new Indoor Sporting Stadium for the shire, which will also generage greater growth to our sport
